Lady's clothes are out of control! Her armoire is full, I have a whole sweater box full of mostly Boutique of Paws sweaters, an under the bed storage box full of out of season clothes and still need more room. smpullhair.gif

I found the cutest bone shaped clothes rack online. I was amazed that I was able to hang twenty dresses on it! It's really sturdy and well made, too.

I got it here. It came with the hangers and the shipping was free. It shipped the next day, too. Target also has them for $5 less, but the hangers aren't included.

Lady is a lucky, pampered girl!
TheButtercup
holy poop! the buttercup better not get a look-see at that! she's already thinking she doesn't have enough clothes to get her thru the winter! (she has PLENTY, she never goes anywhere much anymore, thanks to my poopy job schedule!)

she has to suffer with her clothes put away in a drawer!

marj, she may just hitch a ride south and move in with y'all if she gets a load of these pics! tongue.gif

ann marie and the "whaaa...? i've been cheated. so cheated. i want a new mommy." buttercup (who right NOW, only wants a new mommy who will fall for her tricks of "look! i went potty! no, no, no... don't get up and check... just take my word for it and give me a cookie!")

That is such a great idea.....and I love your "Lady's room"! Is that a regular baby changing table that you use - what a great idea. I would love to see more pictures of the whole room.... smile.gif I need ideas especially now that I have three..... rolleyes.gif

Awwww...that is really cute! What a clever idea!

That's a great idea! I'm still trying to get an armoire. I have the girls a set of wicker drawers (actually two sets) but would rather have something I can hang things in. The wicker was a good starter set but now I need to hang things. If this keeps up they'll have to have their own room with a closet.

This was Dr. Jaimie's idea. It's made with Closetmaid components, $35 each from Lowes. The top one comes with two shelves, but you just replace it with PVC pipe. Even tension curtain rods would work. It holds tons of stuff!

Yes, Candace, that's a baby changing table from Walmart. I've been meaning to get more baskets for the bottom shelf to hold more stuff.

what a cute idea. tongue.gif right now i use part of the closet in the computer room for the girls dresses, but need to add a second bar because i ran out of room on the top bar. shocked.gif my husband just sort of laughed, but thought it was cute (i think just to humor me) that the girls dresses are on hangers. i need to get some wicker baskets for their other things and i love the idea of the changing table.

Oh, that is just amazing and looks so cute in the room!!!!! Love it!!!!

I use a baby changing table too for Daisy too. I will take a picture of it later to show you. I think that is a wonderful idea with the cabneits. Right now I use the top shelf to hang Daisy's dresses, costumes and jackets with a tension curtain rod. The bottom has baskets to hold the other stuff and then on the top of the table is a table top grooming table. I will take pictures later and post them. smile.gif I do have a medicine cabinet that I am going to mount on the wall above the changing table to house Daisy's beauty products. Just have not found the time to do that yet.

great idea -- i have a baby room converted into puppy room and closet is full but now i am thinking of getting the adjustable rod to do a second level to fit more clothes --great idea and love the changing table idea as a possible grooming table for them -- i have so many bins of stuff - went crazy and they grew out of alot of stuff so never wore them sad.gif that is why i am selling so much sad.gif

Lacie's Mom
Marj -- I used to think of you as "my good friend" but now I know that you're "the devil in disguise" and constantly get me into more trouble. tongue.gif

You post pics and I order, order, order. brownbag.gif No willpower at ALL!!! sad.gif

I just ordered 2 of these. And, my girls already have an armoire apiece as well as baskets and decorated boxes full of clothes. That doesn't count the 15 completely full bow boxes. Yes -- I'm just as addicted to bows.

I want to turn our guest room into a room for Lacie and Tilly, but, hubby likes to "lounge" in there to take naps, watch TV and sleep when he had insomnia. LOL So -- I guess the room will just have to wait. But -- he's in Phoenix for the next month, so . . . maybe by the time he returns, it won't be a guest room anymore. biggrin.gif Do you think he would notice??? rolleyes.gif

I had actually cut back on ordering clothes because I was out of room, but when I found those little racks I knew I was in trouble! brownbag.gif

I just donated a bunch of stuff to NMR last Spring, too.

Marj - how many days in a row do you think Lady can go before she has to wear the same thing twice? tongue.gif That is one heck of a wardrobe!! HistericalSmiley.gif

I'm getting boring in my old age.....
I've slowed way down on buying Abbey dresses, but I am trying to build the kid's matching harness vests because they are one thing we do use every day. The only problem with that is, they must be kept near the door and handy for our walks, I have taken over a cabinet in the living room - it's filled with leashes and harness vests. blush.gif

Oh, that is adorable!! And how great that it comes with hangers!! Very nice!!!

I love the baby changing table idea!!! I wonder how that would work as a grooming table. Izzy is so small I kind of like having her up higher when I'm grooming.

Yes, it's hard to believe that Lady spent her first four years dirty, matted and ignored, isn't it? smile.gif
Abbey
Wow! shocked.gif I need to show this to hubby...and he thinks Abbey is spoiled! biggrin.gif Lady is one lucky girl! I love the stacked baskets idea & may have to copy that idea for Abbey's sweaters & harnesses. Can you tell me where you got the cute little baskets? smile.gif

I'm gonna have a go at it Jacqui. In this household if you want something you do it yourself!!! lol lol

I always said I should have been born a boy. I just love making things like that. tongue.gif

There is nothing here in the shops like that and if they are anything like Pet Edge they charge a fortune to ship to Australia.

I love the little hangers. I wonder if I can buy kiddies hangers?? would that work?? Mind you I always said that Chloe needed her own wardrobe to hang all the lovely stuff that people on SM made her. She had more clothes than I did. At the moment I bought a new dresser to put all Chloe's things in. It will be a while until Katie can fit into anything mellow.gif there's a couple of pet shops in 'town' - like over an hour away - but they didn't have baby clothes for a tiny malt etc.

Anyway Marj, Lady's room look adorable. I can imagine if you were showing people your house and then came to lady's room and said and this is my baby's room!! rolleyes.gif

so cute so cute wub.gif wub.gif

Hugs and missing tail wags

Dede and (waiting for Katie) from under down under and precious memories of the little sausage

24 days until Katie arrives wub.gif

These are the hangers I use. They are really nice and sturdy.

When i finish the computer/guest/puppy room i'm going to order a changing table and some baskets i know i'll use that more than the grooming table. I now have the grooming table folded and tucked away in the closet. I also buy hangers for kids clothes to hang the girls dresses on.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I checked the site out, and saw they have that other one....more like sort of a little armoire. I think for Zippy, I am going to have something bigger...::glares at Jodi::
I also noticed that some of the babies have their own rooms. My daughter graduates from college May of next year....sooooooo, Zippy is seriously looking at her room! She won't sleep anywhere but with me, but, it would sure clear out my space if she had her stuff elsewhere lol.
