Is anyone aware, of Rescue Organizations that you can drop off your husbands, and HOPE they find a forever home!!!!

Argh!!!.

I have been teaching little baby Mia...No play biting, noooo tug of war....and what has he been doing with my sweet baby girl for the past hour????

They have been rolling around on the floor, wrestling...tug of war with his shirt...which is a NO NO...and he is rolling on the floor laughing. And baby Mia is having the time of her life, HOWEVER, she is play biting but also kissing him up a storm..

So now, hubby is exhausted from the playing, and poor baby Mia, looking like a little rag a muffin, and waaaaay over tired.
and Mommy now has the pleasure of calming my sweet baby Mia down smile.gif.

Oh how we do love her.

Okay soooooo any reccomendations on a shelter that is open at this time that takes HUSBANDS ???? tongue.gif

I will bet there are a lot of places that would take him off your hands!!!!
Mine is just like that and spends most of his at home time on the floor. When we are at friends homes that have Malts, there is Bob, on the floor or carrying one around.
Got to love these Malt Men......wouldn't trade mine for all the tea in China!!!! wub.gif

Yep, it's called the neighborhood bar ~ HistericalSmiley.gif

It does sound like your hubby loves his little furry buddy, though wub.gif

Mine does the same thing. I said "would you please not do that." His answer, "She likes it." He has turned my Lexie into a tomboy girl...He does love them.

My husband is why i'm having such a hard time with the barking. He comes home from work and everyone is barking and he's talking to them and loving all over them. We have been trying to break his bad habit. HistericalSmiley.gif

Oh you guys make me always feel so much better. He does love his little girl, and during the week when he gets home from work, he really only has time, to hold her a little bit and give her love. He also helps his Mom out. So, on the weekend is when he gets the most time with her.

And it warms my heart to see them playing....but certian things in "Mommy school" she was taught was naughty...gooooo straight out the window.

I only was a little upset, because they had their play time and Mia was tired, and I was rocking her in my lap, and off to a peaceful sleep she was going.....but here comes Daddy, saying, " I want to play with her more". And back to wrestling and playbiting..

Our little Mia is a precious little girl...with a determined mind...which is adorable..but I thought it best to start some lessons...riiiiight away....and honest, I'm not bragging....but little girl knows that she has to sit first, before Mommy throws the toy.....and she does it !!!! smile.gif. And bring it back!!!!! All my other fur babies, we had to chase THEM for the toy. Oh what a site that had to be.

Today, is Ms. Mia's first bath day, with Mommy, and if her dislike of being brushed is any indication....should be very interesting smile.gif.

Thank you all again....and for now....Hubby is just on the "waiting list" - and I think I will keep him...a little longer smile.gif

Love you all.

I'd love to find out about that shelter myself!! Hubby is so in love with the girls it just melts my heart and he is actually the one who was finally able to teach Annie to sit. BUT, oh boy, sometimes I could clobber him! Like when Annie starts barking and then goes into her wolf howl which sounds like it's coming from a hundred pound wild wolf not from a 5 pound malt, he starts laughing and telling her, "you tell em, Annie! Go get em!" All the while I'm trying to teach her not to bark at every little noise she hears outside.

But, the one that is just about to drive me over the edge is his reaction to their begging while he eats dinner. I have never fed them while I eat and our son has never fed them while he eats. But, hubby will feed them from his plate every once in a while even though I've asked him not to. It's not the food he gives that drives me crazy because it's only freshly steamed plain veggies or lettuce without dressing. But after a few minutes of his giving into their begging he starts hollering for me to call MY dogs off of HIM! (He eats at the coffee table and I eat at the dining table - men!.)

Well, if HE wouldn't feed them from HIS plate HE wouldn't have this problem. They don't beg from anybody but HIM! I usually just ignore him hoping he'll take the hint, but the cycle just goes on and on.

Wow, is everyone having trouble sleeping tonight or should I say this morning??

OMG!! Sophie, my husband did the same thing with my sweet baby Kara. For years....baby Kara NEVER had people food, and then one "bright" moment he had....he said....ohhhhh how would you like to eat the same thing ever day, and gave her something from his plate...Up till that point, when I ate, little Kara, would just lay on my lap, and very content. From the time he thought...oh let her have a little.....whenever he would eat, he could not eat in peace, so I would make him his dinner and hold Kara till he was done. He didn't start this until she was about 6 years old...but it drove me crazzzzzzy.
And my Mother-in-law, would say....who I do love...but she would say..."oh a little won't hurt her".....grrrrrr.

So when it got time to feed my sweet Kara, who I do the feeding, of course, I had to hand feed her...because I just wanted to make sure she got the nutrients she needed.

So guess what...with little Mia...absolutely NOT....we have her a blue food and blue treats..which she loves....and he now agrees, it is what is best for her.

Oh it's so much easier training a fur baby then a husband!!!!
