Angel's Mom
I looked and she hasn't posted since early morning. Has her area been evacuated? Has anyone heard from her?

Lynne - I spoke with Deb a little while ago. She's fine!! The fires are mostly under control, and her skies are a nice blue again. She and the doggies are lazing around.

I'm sure she'll be on at some point today.

That is so Good!!!!! The winds have died down and the fires are diminishing~~~I am so happy for everyone that escaped it!!!!
Angel's Mom
Oh, Thank you Linda! I'm glad she's fine and the fires are diminishing.

Oh, I'm sooo sorry I haven't updated. I slept in, and been doing laundry.

Yorba Linda fire is out, thank God. The one, I'm thinking in the Chino/Diamond Bar area,
is still going.

I wasn't concerned, until a friend, from San Diego called me, yesterday.

I told him we're safe. When he reminded me of the SD fire, 5-years ago.
The winds jumped the fires to business's, and residentials. San Diego was in flames.

The fires are nasty, but it's rare to hear of lives lost. Homes, and belongings are lost.

Sky is BLUE!! Doesn't smell like a campfire. I sprayed off the patio, while holding Lulu.

Ella's original rescues, had a hard time. David, and Amie, live in the hills of Yorba Linda.
They are involved with horse rescue. I called them yesterday, and they were evacuating.
I told Linda, I may have horses in my living room, before the day is over ~ lol

I was definately prepaired to leave, at a moments notice. Although, Lulu was NOT leaving
the BED. I said, "Lulu, we cannot fit the bed in the Jeep". She said, "Then I'm not going anywhere".
Alrighty then, "Whatever Lulu, this is not the Titanic, where we have NO choice".

Had the fires jumped this way, Lulu would have been the only casualty.

Deb I am so pleased to hear things are ok there for you and also very pleased you didn't have to abandon Lulu and her bed.
I can only imagine you house full of dogs and horses but I also know that had it come to that you would have done it cos that's you grouphug.gif

Deb, good to know things are fine with you. Please take care!!

Whew! That's great. I'm so glad you are O.K. Neither you nor your doggies need the stress of leaving. eek2_gelb2.gif

Glad you and the furbutts are well. I remember this all the time when living in Irvine and Newport Beach, but we were lucky that the fires never came to where we were.

I'm glad the winds have sifted and the fires seem to be more under control, but as those of us who've lived in the LA area know, the winds can sift again at any minute.

Those darn Santa Anas anyway!!!!!! smpullhair.gif

Praying that all of our members and dear friends stay SAFE!!!! prayer.gif prayer.gif prayer.gif
