I put 6-10 but I dont know. Cloud DESTROYS his toys so I hesitate to get him stuff. He absolutely LOVE stuffed toys, but he digs into it and chews it up until it's all raggedy. I actually don't care if he messes them up, but my bf says it's a waste of money. What am I to do? LOL

However, I usually buy them treats more often than I buy them toys. I can't go wrong with that! And when I get my own place, Imma get a bunch of toys for him! MOOHAHAHA

He has two baskets full...
I didn't bother to count, I didn't want to have to admit the actual number.

We probably have around 40. There would be more, but I regularly cull the more unpopular ones. I like buying them new toys, but I live in a two room apartment. It's small. We don't have room to keep every single toy that I buy for them, especially if they never play with it. Little C has around 20 that she plays with daily. She has two absolute favorites that we all have to sleep with. Sometimes, we sleep with them all, though. If I go to bed early because I'm sick or something, it's going to be a squeaky night because she will bring every single toy to me in turn, hoping I'll throw it even though I'm asleep. Sir N has only a few he will play with. His favorite is his kangaroo and the koala that was supposed to be Little C's is probably his second favorite. He never makes me sleep with them, though.

yeppers. the buttercup also has duplicate toys with tags still attached. LOL. we also seem to have a "gift toy theme" (perhaps a joke that everyone ELSE has been let in on, and not US) because we have 6 (SIX!!!) of the little plush bunny rabbits that have the "boing boing boing" noise instead of the standard squeaker. we have gotten at least one every Christmas, birthday, and a couple other occasions for the last two years.

her favorite toy is the giraffe. plain old fleecy giraffe from petsmart. it was her very first toy, and i even bought a "back up" in case mr giraffe had any sort of fatal injuries where he needed to be PTS. lol. though she has about 40+ toys, she has a very select group that she plays with regularly. she loves the giraffe, piggy (a very small soft fuzzy pig, who had to have an emergency appendectomy the first night we had him home, and several follow-up operations since), christmas wreath, and her woobie (from the toy aisle at target! it's a little tiny blankie with a teddy bear head on it, satin edge, and it says "you are my sunshine") that she shakes viciously like she's trying to kill the woobie LOL. she will spend hours just licking either piggy or woobie. she's just so gentle with her toys.

and i'll invariably buy her another one today at petsmart. LOL.
(The Boy brought her one when he came over for our first date...I got flowers, she got a squeaky toy....I'd say he's a keeper!)

Tuffy has about 20 toys that he regularly puts in rotation. I put them all in a big plastic box and he takes them out one at a time, plays with each one and then dumps them to move on to the next. He dislikes rubber toys so those almost always stay in the box. Now with Pixie around I really only need 1 single toy for the two of them since one will grab a toy and the other must have it and refuses to go play with something else.

He's perfectly fine! I had to take him in for his annual. He had an examination, bordatella, DHPP, Rabies, Heartworm test, and fecal test.

Man, when they told me they were going to give him a fecal test I was like, "I didn't know I was suppose to get a sample." They said not to worry, that they have their ways to get fecal samples!
Poor baby! I think I heard him yelp when he was in the back. And he had 3 shots given to them...the heartworm test involves a bloodtest.

He was soooo different. He usually barks like a maniac at the doctor. He was just so clingy to me and didn't bark..not even to other animals!!! Oh, I was able to hear his heartbeat too. :D Oh yeah, and ya'll remember my anal leakage problem? Well, HIS anal leakage problem...mine is fine! LOL Well, they had to express it because it was full. Funny thing is he never scoot his fanny on the ground. And EWWWW, they didnt tell me they expressed it until after I touched his hiney! EWWWWWWW. I had to put my hand under him to hold him securely, that's why my hand was there.
He also has some irritation in the eyes...Pollen in TN is CRAZY! But he said Cloud wasn't so bad. Wait til he sees Noriko though!

SHEILA! That's so sweet that you asked!

Tiki has loads of toys.  I rotate them just like I did for my kids when they were younger.    In addition to the "purchased" toys he loves toilet paper and paper towl roll cardboard tubes!

I think it so so funny my maltese and Min Pin do this as well. They each did it as puppies. Now we put our tp in the cabinet above the potty but there have been times that we have forgot and we left out. Man as soon as we leave they get it and shred it in to Tiny pieces so small thet are hard to pick up. We used to get mad but I tought about it one day If I were a dog that would be a Blast!!

Shiner(min Pin) also gets the old rolls out of the trash and plays with them.

Some on here have heard our TP roll casastrophe, but Brink is no longer allowed the privelege of playing with these.
He decided one night when he was a puppy to "eat" the cardboard instead of just chasing/chewing on it as he had in the past. He was laying right next to me while he "ate" it. Anyway, he started coughing, drinking a lot of water, and throwing up-over and over again. I was SO worried. He finally hacked up a small piece of the cardboard, and I decided to investigate the rest of the roll. He had eaten over half of it and couldn't get it back up. I took him to the vet, and he gave him some hydrogen peroxide to swallow..after a few seconds, he threw up a WHOLE WAD of cardboard.
I was SO embarrassed...he said he had seen much worse come up or out of dogs...ha ha...anyway Brink no longer can have them-that scared me too badly, even though I THOUGHT he was supervised.

Just a word of caution...wouldn't want your babies to decide to eat it too...
