Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce my cute Maltese "Koa." He is a 14 week old male from Queensland, Australia. My husband and I bought him in Sept and he now lives with us in Hawaii. We love him to pieces!

Koa likes biting his owners (despite our attempts to stop him), playing fetch, playing in the mud, meeting other dogs, and hopping (like a rabbit).

Welcome to SM. How lucky to live in paradise! Did Koa have to be quarantined when he came from NZ? Just curious.....

Actually, we got Koa from Australia. Because Australia (and NZ) do not have any rabbies, dogs coming from those countries to Hawaii do not have to be quarentined. We felt bad making him fly so far by himself, but we could not find a breeder in Hawaii that responsibly bred Maltese. All of them closely inbred their puppies (father/daughter, etc) and seemed to be in it only for the money. We searched for a while but couldn't find anyone reputable so we started looking in Australia where we finally found out precious Koa. :)

It's so nice to meet you and little Koa.

I too am from Australia but now living in the US, but I have had the pleasure of visiting Hawaii and I must say you are a lucky lady to be living in paradise. May I ask which Island you are on. I stayed in Honalulu for a vacation and spent some time visiting the many sites of interest there like the Pineapple Plantation and the wonderful markets, Pearl Harbour, and the Razor Back I think that is what it is called, and that wonderful huge Sports Stadium. The hotels there were so beautiful especailly the ones with the nature settings right in the center. The highlite of my trip was the Luou, what a great night's entertainment we had there, and I must say the people are just so friendly there too.

Welcome, Welcome.

You are one lucky person.... We got married in Maui. It was a dream of ours.
Wish we could live there. Gee do we miss it. The people are wonderful. Everything was Grand. As you can tell ,we had a great time. We only saw one maltese puppy when we were there . It was running on the beach.
your puppy is so cute.
