Sending you a prayer Michelle, that Amber will be well.
It sounds like a sleepless night for you.
Sounds like Amber is in great hands.

pumpkin and green beans are natural fiber to help get things moving - so sorry she is not well. If you do green beans food process them to break the cellular wall so she can absorb the nutrientsAmber is getting around a little better but still not herself. Her belly is swelled and hard. she yipped tonigth when I moved her. I've watched and she hasn't made a bowel movement so she might be constipated. They were worried she'd get diareah but I think the opposite has happened. Taking her in,first thing in the morning.. My sweet baby, going to be a long night, can't sleep worrying about her..
I use pumpkin with probiotics daily for my allergy girl and if she gets loose stools ever i double it up and give in morning and at night and it works wonders.Michelle,
What about a teaspoon of pumpkin (canned, plain pumpkin) that can do wonders for the stools. I add a teaspoon everyday in my fuffs (homecooked food) they love it. You should run it by your vet first.
Did you start Amber on the yougart, by chance?
I hope that she feels better soon.
Allie
Can't get her in until 2:30 since it's surgery day. I give her yogurt every day now,and the others too. I gave her some milk today and now her stools are real soft, but at least she pooed. Her belly is still swelled and she yipped when I picked her up. I'm still taking her in this afternoon anyway. She hadn't pooed in a couple days so I'm hoping she's just constipated.Michelle,
