HAHAHA! Jack was whining at the shower door, so I opened it a tad to give him kisses and reassurance, and he WRIGGLED RIGHT IN!
:new_Eyecrazy: He got instantly drenched, and freaked out! I think he'll never do that again!

But, since he was already wet, I soaped him up with his new shampoo and cleaned him -- I think I'll try bathing him in the shower every time now; he can't get away from me as easily, and I have one of those shower-arm hoses that comes down off the wall. He still hates when I do his face, but otherwise, it was much easier than the sink was!

Do any of you use the shower to clean your baby? I kind of felt quite strange taking a shower with my dog

Anyway here he is after his impromptu bath:

And here's Jack after his blow dry, trying to eat his brush...

I feel weird about showering with my babies too! But sometimes it's just easier to kill 2 birds with one stone. HAHAHAHHA I don't havethose shower handy hose thingy in my shower so I have to pick them up which can get uhhh, painful sometimes. LOL But it's so much faster that way!

Jack looks traumatized and in a daze! PUAHAHAHAHaH

baby ducks?? how did everyone else let the "baby ducks" comment go by?? melissajean, i want the baby ducks story! LOL it sounds like a riot. were there MANY baby ducks or just a couple? how "baby" were they? inquiring minds want to know!

back to the topic...poor jack, he looks like he's thinking "um, okay...how do i manage to get a little brother or sister to bully around into doing things FIRST so that i can see the outcome before i do something boneheaded like this again?" he's a cutie pie though

ann marie and the "speaking of MY little brother or sister....when do i get one, mom???? i really want one...i NEEEEEEED one!!!!!" buttercup

I wash Alex in the shower. I have also one of those hand held shower heads. It's very easy with that. In my new shower I have bench where I can sit him on. Need to ask my husband to take a picture next time. Don't get excited Joe
I won't be naked.

I shower with Mimi and it actually does stop her from wriggling around. She pretty much knows that if she tries to get out, she will hurt herself. But she seems to enjoy it. She likes the water falling on her from the shower head when I hold her in my arms. I never felt that it was weird at all.

my sister got two baby mallerds at a small animal sale and swap becuse someone was talking about eating them. so she got uspet and had my mom buy two. she kept them in a sun room in the house becuse she was afraid beasties would get them. she took them out side and they would follow her all over. when they were bigger she made harnesses for them so they woulnt fly away. she had a amle and female, giddeon and jillien. when they were very very small she let them get into the tub with her, but they started pooping in the water so she started taking showers and letting them swim in the tub by themselves lol. they loved shower time. I never saw them during shower time of course but she told me they would run under the water and hold there wings out. and you could hear them lol

that's awesome. my mom told me that she had ducks as a pet when she was young, so i asked her if they ever made it into their tub, and she said "oh no way, but they LOVED the big water basin in the back yard. and they played with the dogs very nicely!" i guess the dog thought he was a duck too. my family has never exactly been blessed with "smart" dogs... LOLOLOL

Ha! Those pictures of Jack are priceless! Bailey has never been in the shower with me but when he first came home with me, he would whine while I was in the tub. He used to back up until his little butt would touch the toilet, then he would run and try and jump in the tub with me. This would happen over and over and it was so cute because he never turned around to get a run for the tub.. he would just back up until he couldn't back any farther.. and then run with all of his little might and jump. Well, needless to say, I couldn't stand him crying for me any longer, so one day I plopped him in the tub with me.
After that experience, he never ever tried to jump in the tub again. He still has to be in the bathroom with me while I bathe but he lays there like a good little boy and waits for me to finish!
