Well 6 months ago I would have said Nature's Miracle but I've since discovered it isn't as good as I thought. Yes it will remove the stain visablly and the smell but if you use a black light the stain is still there. Right now a bunch of us are on the search for a product that will remove the stain visably and from under black light. One of the members just order Zero something and is going to see if that product works. They have a guarentee that it will remove the stain and smell completely. We are now waiting to hear if it works.

I swear by Oxyclean. When Lady first started with diabetes, before she was regulated on insulin, she had huge puddles all over the carpet. She will still have an occasionally accidnet if her blood sugar goes real high if she isn't feeling well. I would have spent fortune on Natures Miracle so I decided to try Oxyclean.

I saturate the area with the Oxyclean mixture, then blot up the excess 20 minutes later. The key is then to let it dry completely (up to a week) because it's the drying process that allows the enzymes to eat up the stain.

It will leave a slight white powder residue that looks like it has bleached the carpet, but don't panic. It shampoos rights out, which is the next step.

Then, finally, I spray the area with vinegar and water for good measure.

Which brand do you think eliminates stains/odors from the soiled area permanently so that the dog doesn't mess there again?

Thanks.

I was using Nature's Miracle (on ceramic floors) with the first dog and then switched to Oxyclean with the second. I think Oxyclean does a better job, there less repeat accidents on same spot and the sprayer container seems to make it last longer than the spout on the Nature Miracle bottles.

I heard Zero Odor was good but my area does not carry it so I have not tried that one.

Good luck. Thanks for starting this thread. It's always great to learn from other's mistakes!

You have to buy zero order on the internet or call the company. It is not sold in stores.
