We are moving soon, from an apartment to a house (finally!) and of course I have been wanting another Maltese, #3, but my wife wants a big dog that an walk with her, are there any "big" dogs that have hair, do not shed and dont stink?

greyhounds are big, no odor, but they don't have long hair and I'm not sure about the shedding. Just don't get a lab, or a german shepherd. They shed tons.

standard poodles? hmmmm hadnt thought of those, I would love a lab but we are indoor dog kind of people so we would need something house and maltese friendly of course :lol:

Maxis best friend is a toy poodle that may be too small Joe
but ill tell you that play fantastic and diggy ( the toy poodle) will be 2 in july he is brilliant he watches over Maxi like you can't believe when we sit outside on my friends deck and we put the boys in the 30 foot leashes we bought for them anytime Maxi gets stuck diggy runs to tell us , one time Maxi got out of his harness( heartattack i almost had) and diggy ran right up barking like a lunatic to tell us so i love the relationship between the 2 breeds
