Last week Zani took a small tumble and it scraped some of the black skin off around his mouth. It has already healed up but the color isn't black, its a light pinkish white color. Will it fill in black again or will it be like a scar and not come back in a black color?

I would say normally scar tissue is most often lighter than the original skin color sorry to say but perhaps some time in the sun my help a little I am not sure.

Awww, poor guy!

Yeah I am not sure if it will come back or not due to the scar tissue. If it was just a week ago, the color may appear more after a little time, maybe? I'm really not sure though.

Poor baby. The black is pigmentation. I am not sure if it will come back or not.

I sure hope it comes back. It happened last Friday. It's a very small spot and it wasn't that bad of a tumble. Just a small scrap. It's hard to believe such a small scrap would scar or not get black again. It's not that noticable but I notice it. I sure hope it will come back. I hope someone else has had the same experience and will be able to tell me what happened with their baby. I know it's not a big deal I just hate that it happened. He's so sweet!!!!
