Bella and I went to the Bow Wow Festival here in Austin today. It was rainy and has been for several days so there was lots of mud! Bella walked from the car to the park (about 2 blocks) and was tired by the time we got into the park...so I carried her for a lot of the time we were there.

The high light of my day was the weiner dog races! We just saw one heat b/c it started to rain again and we headed home...

The bad news is both Bella and I looked like wet muddy dogs at the end of it all!
No pics of that

But we both had a long sunday afternoon nap after we cleaned up!

I hope everyone else had a great sunday...

We have a free magazine that is for pet owners in Austin. Austin Pet Directory

There are so many outdoor activities that go on in this city and many concerts and events that are dog friendly. I am so excited b/c the farmer's market is very dog friendly and a great way to spend saturday morning.
There are several things coming up in the spring i'm super excited about...especially "Doggie Happy Hour" on the deck at some resturants and bars. Bella can meet dogs and I can drink a margarita!
