My boy has dry skin and his doctor gave me medicated shampoo and leave-in conditioner. They work fine (he doesn't scratch anymore) but they don't smell quite good and the leave-in conditioner makes his coat kind of sticky. Can you recommend any good quality shampoo and conditioner? I have that blue shampoo for white hair but that makes him scratch like crazy (poor baby ). Thanks in advance.

Maximus,

I have to say that I have been using this particular shampoo now for 6 months and I love it. Teddy does not scratch at all and it seems to be very soothing....just on my hands when I am shampooing. I am putting the link to both the shampoo and conditioner that I am using....the conditioner is awesome and Teddy very seldom has a matt where as before I started using it he was getting them all the time.

Conditioner

The conditioner says that it is 7 to 1 I believe but I just put it on Teddy straight from the bottle and he is so white and soft that people comment all the time.

Hope this helps...

By the way, I rinse really really well. And before I started using these products, Teddy had started to scratch. Now he never does.

Bless the Beast has a shampoo for dry skin, I think its called soothing shampoo or nourishing shampoo...I've never tried those particular ones but I have tried the detangling version and I'm very happy with it so I'm thinking the nourishing version or soothing version might work just as well too.
