Hi all
Comfortis recently became available in Australia (a few months back) and at the time, I asked our vet what he thought about the product. Because it was brand spanking new, he said let me research a little, and ask me again next time.
So I took Harley in today as he has an ear infection, poor sweet boy, and I asked the vets business partner about it (our Holistic vet, and his business partner are my 2 fave vets at the practice) ... so he said he LOVES it, said its an excellent product, so I got some.
Now, I currently have a bee in my bonnet about how much we in Australia pay for goods, especially seeing as our Dollar is so very strong at the moment, and I was curious as to what you would typically pay in the US for Comfortis (6 pack).
I paid $70.75 for Dakota, and $78.90 for Harley - because he is in the next weight range. So that works out just under $25 / month to treat both. Seems crazy expensive to me. Dont get me wrong, they are both worth every penny, but still, its a LOT of money!!
Am I being ripped off, yet again??
ETA: I dont think my vet is ripping me off - he gave me a 50% discount on the consult today, the vet is very good!
