I have two new 11 week old Maltese littermate mixes. One of them has some major dandruff that stuck in his coat. The skin is all clear it’s just flaky and sticks to the hair when I try to get it out. Has anybody experienced this or have any suggestions. I brush him out which pulls a lot of it out but,

it just seems to come back every day.

I already have she is not worried about it. She thinks it’s from poor quality food before I got them. She said we will watch it. She was happy that the skin looked good.

I have never seen that before. You could try a slicker, but do not use it the normal way, you will scratch him, use it like comb, not a brush. Herd to explain, but hold handle perpendicular to the body, not parallel. Also a fine toothed comb might help.

Not sure if the OP is still following this thread but I agree with Maggie. She needs to be seen by a vet/dermatologist, especially if your vet is saying this is something not to worry about.
IMO, it looks like a bacterial infection. My oldest girl who is immune compromised gets them and it looks just like this/dandruff.
Please have him seen asap.
