Elaine - the metacam works wonders! Hunter is on it as a PRN for when there is inflammation in his knee from over use and it helps relax him enough each time that he is able to pop his knee back on his own. We always use it for three days in a row to ensure that he's back to normal and he stays a little restricted for 3 more (so its 6 days total if he has hurt himself). I sure do hope that Dixie gets better soon
