Aspirin is not safe to give to dogs. It is extremely harsh on the stomach and it is no longer recommended.

After 16 years of having dogs..I still don't know what to do if my fluff is choking.

There are salicylates (aspirin) in Pepto Bismol, and I would never give it to my dog. I don't keep Karo syrup either. I keep honey for hypoglycemia.
Instead of Immodium, I keep a similar product that is made for dogs: KPectin.
I also keep Rescue Remedy for stress, and Arnica for pain, Pumpkin for constipation, and ginger for tummy aches.

After living/working/traveling in many developing countries and knowing all too well when things like Imodium are needed, I still wouldn't use it. It doesn't treat the cause of the problem just masks it. I would prefer to take some probotics instead (or eat bananas but I don't know if you can give bananas to a dog). Also sometimes Imodium will make one vomit. jmo and experience. So I definitely wouldn't give it to my dog.

Probiotics are awesome and I wouldn't be without them for me or my fluff. Bananas are fine for dogs.
Don't forget milk - I don't always have it but last night my darling little twosome decided their breath needed freshening. They tag teamed the wastebasket and before I could get to them had ingested a couple of the remnants of those scented pearl air freshener things - I had just thrown it away. After 45 minutes on the phone with the ASPCA Poison Control they had me give each one a tablespoon of milk and told me what symptoms to watch for. So from now on, milk is in my frig no matter what.

you mentioned Rescue Remedy for Stress. I had never heard of that so i went to their website. Does it really work? my Bianca has a huge problem in cars. I have tried just about everything. I had bought her a seat that I clip in her harness to and she can sit and see everything. She barks nonstop and tries to get out of it. I have held her and even then she barks nonstop (very urgently) anytime we pass anything that is not a tree. last nite, i put her in a small crate on the front seat of my car for just a 10 minute car ride. You should've heard the noises coming out of her! she sounded like a cross between a dying turkey and a growling cat. there are times when I have to take her in a car and if this rescue remendy would work that would be AWESOME!!
also when you use rescue remedy, how long does the effect last? For example if i want to take my dog to my friend's house which is about 20 minutes away by car.. i would like for the dog to be calm in the car but then back to her normal self at my friend's house

I have used Rescue Remedy for years with Cita ... she is very scared of thunder, lightning and fireworks. However, I do not give it to her just on a whim ... A week or so before July 4th, I start adding a bunch (5 - 8 drops - she weighs 50 pounds) to her food once a day. By the time July 4th hits, she is calm as can be. Now, that doesn't mean we set off fireworks in the yard, but she can handle going outside hearing them in the distance and she doesn't freak out.
I would try doing a little each day a few days before you know a car ride is in the plan. It would be great if you could have someone else drive, and you keep praising her and treating when she is calm and quiet.

Bianca is about 4 1/2 lbs.. would she still get 4 drops? how do the dogs react using this? We have this AKC First Aid Kit and gave them out as Christmas presents this year. Not everything you need is in there, but it's a great little kit!

They make Rescue Remedy specifically for dogs. It doesn't work for every dog, and it doesn't make them sleepy, just calm. I've used the "human" Rescue Remedy (dental visit) and it calmed me down a little.
