After living/working/traveling in many developing countries and knowing all too well when things like Imodium are needed, I still wouldn't use it. It doesn't treat the cause of the problem just masks it. I would prefer to take some probotics instead (or eat bananas but I don't know if you can give bananas to a dog). Also sometimes Imodium will make one vomit. jmo and experience. So I definitely wouldn't give it to my dog.
