The fact that you can use Advantage more then once it really good. Chesley got the second set of flea's two days before the other revolution was due. I still put it on her.
Oh yeah, when the vet told me not the wash her with the flea bath yet because i already put the revolution on her. It did drive me nuts... that way I went out to the vet that day and got the home treatment as well. I wanted them all dead

I also pray we none of us ever see these things again .

i give maxi the frontline plus its a liquid you put on the nap of his neck
so far so good i check him all the time, also for tics i get paranoid sinc ei have heard of a few cases recently of peoples babies dying from tics
i had them give maxi the lime shot this year

I give Sentinel + Frontline Plus each month. Here is specs:

Paris is 1 yr and 3 mos. weighs in at 5.7lbs
I give Sentinel on the 8th of each month, Frontline Plus on the 23rd.
I wash Paris about 15 days before administering the Frontline Plus.

No fleas yet!

Prior to this routine, he was ONLY on sentinel. I did occasionally see one or 2 fleas on him. That's why we went to this routine

I don't like putting pesticides on Alex. So if there are only one or two fleas I just kill them. And spray the yard. But since we don't go on walks and outside the yard I don't put him on the ground, his exposure to catch a flea is limited.

If you don't like putting pesticides on Alex, let me suggest you spray your yard with Beneficial Nematodes. These are microscopic worms that burrow into larvae in the soil and kill the larva of grubworms, ants and fleas! Totally harmless to Alex, especially when you consider how close to the ground he is and how he sniffs the areas where you have sprayed.

You can get them at garden shops for about $10 for a 1000 square foot yard.

Do you find that at Home Depot or Lowe's ? I can check also Cornelius.

Sorry for not replying but I've been preoccupied with work and cat-sitting.....I don't know if you can get them at the Big Box garden centers but usually the smaller, local places carry them.
