She had a green xmas card on top and it bled into the leather straps. It isn't horrendous but it is upsetting me

Is there no way to clean it off? How noticeable is it? What color are the shoes and what color is the ink? I bet you she'll like it and her jeans will probably cover the strap anyway

I suggest that you take the shoes to a reputable shoe shop. They may have something that will clean the stain off the leather or can put some polish over it ??? They are supposed to be experts with this sort of thing..... Good luck!!!!

thanks guys...you all are great!

Hubby used some sort of leather "stone" (don't ask I don't know) and got most of the green from the card off. I think my niece won't notice.

The strap is oatmeal, but really you have to look darned close now. I think it'll be fine...I am quite pleased they are here. My stomach doesn't hurt much anymore :lol:
