I know that this is a stupid question, but I always have
trouble grooming my guy's heads. I don't want my guys
to have top knots, so I trim the hair in that area. I
usually have trouble deciding where the ear hair that
hangs down begins and where the hair that would be
in a topknot and should be trimmed ends. And is there
a good rule of thumb for how long the hair on the
muzzle should be if you keep you babies in a puppy
cut?
Over the past 3 years, i have learned a lot
about grooming a maltese because Harry's immune
system problems make trips to the groomer impossible...
and I think that I have finally gotten a handle on the body,
the legs, and the tail.... for which I am very proud of
myself...lol. I gave Teddy a puppy cut trim today and
he looks quite cute ... from the rear and the side...lol.
But I always manage to butcher their face and their head.
Any tips?
Thanks,
Debbie
