Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is my husband Steve's 51st birthday.:aktion033::aktion033: I thought that I would update everyone about how he's doing..... GREAT!!!! :chili::chili: He had open heart surgery on Monday, October 11. He was in intensive care for 3 days, but after only two days out of intensive care, he came home!!! He is doing so great! We're walking at least 2 miles every day. The doctor told him that he can start driving again and that he can probably go back to work after Thanksgiving (which I'm not happy about... I like having him home!). The only hurdle we have left is that his kidneys seem to be having some type of problem.... so he'll have a kidney biopsy in a few weeks to determine what's going on there.

I wanted to thank everyone for all of the prayers and good wishes when Steve had the surgery... as we see time and again... prayers from this wonderful SM group work!

Hugs and thanks,
Debbie

:cheer:HAPPY BIRTHDAY-TO-BE, STEVE :cheer: Debbie, I am so happy for you and the whole family that Steve had the surgery and is doing so well. I know how scary it was going into it, but he must feel so much better. I hope that his kidney issue subsides as his heart works more productively. Let us know about the biopsy -- sending prayers about it.

So now you like having him at home, huh? I vacillate when my DH is home since we work freelance from home (he's usually on site somewhere thought) Sometimes I love it, sometimes. :smpullhair: Hope you have a nice celebration planned with your family.:chili:

Oh Debbie, Happy birthday to your dear Steve, and will continue to pray for his progress, and pray the kidney is fine as well. Both of you enjoy this special day :)
