hi all
about a week ago we found a hard lump on chicos belly it lloked red with a blue vein running thru it ,took him to the vet he put him on a weeks worth of antibotics to rule out infection... a week later it is still there:mellow: any ideas ?anyones baby have this please help!

Hi Denise - I don't have any idea but hoping Chico will be okay. Did the vet run tests or anything before the antibiotic? Any x-rays or scans? Would think they'd need to do that to see what's going on. Good luck.

Is it possible that it could be a hemangioma? (hemangioma is an abnormal proliferation of blood vessels that may occur in any vascularized tissue.) I have these on various places of my body & they can be raised (and can itch!) They are a brownish red in color usually--not always---and seem to go down pretty far in the skin layers. Just a thought but probably way off!
