Some other cute ones - http://www.bellaparis.com/vests.php?PHPSES...2a15984212e3b4c

I was also recently at a trade show and they had these great leather harnesses. They were shaped like eye glasses and you put the font legs through and it ties up on top. Very well made and they are decorated and come in different colours. They look awfully ugly on the website but I saw pretty pastel ones with hearts and other pretty designs.

Glamour Dogs have much nicer versions: http://www.glamourdog.com/harness.html

There are some Hagen step-in rabbit harness that I swore by. They are now discontinued and replaced with a leash/harness set. Thank goodness I bought about 10 before they got discontinued.

I like step-in harnesses. Peanut is really skinny and the regular harnesses twist around and he ends up twisted up in the leash by the end of the walk. With the step-in kind, the top always stays on top. And I also like them because I can use a collar when necessary without leaving the harness on all day when he needs his tags.

There's nothing extra special about this brand, I'm just picky and I wanted the turquoise color (even though I don't know how to spell turquoise
)

Charmy, I love the idea of the heart harness/lead. I am having a time of finding harnesses for my puppy. Up until now, I have been using the cheap nylon ones from Petsmart. They have really made a mess of the hair on the top of her back, though. She has a section of short hairs because they keep getting caught in the harness. Problem is, she doesn't like to take the harness off. I guess it makes her feel secure. I bought a beautiful step-in harness, while it is easy to use and doesn't pull on her hair, it is too big for her (the smallest size they had...extra small). It is made of a knit nylon so there is a lot of give to it. I may just break down and get the leather one. BTW, do you own each of these? I'd love to see some photos of your pups in them.

The website for The Pampered Pup has several step in harnesses. Here's a link to one I'm thinking of getting Shell Harness but they have several that are really cute.

I wanted to add that it's kind of hard to see the pattern on the harnesses but if you click on the link to the matching collar it shows the pattern close-up.

Here is one that isnt on my site yet, same idea as the bone one though, adjusts to their body, leather and has a crocodile leather bone attached. Really cute, good for smaller dogs since it is adjustable. Only $48.99 though, also in lime green, gold, or Black!

I have been looking for a pink leather step in harness, but without the leash, since I already have a pink leather regular harness and leash set. If anyone on their harness quest happens to run across one, please let me know.

I have a collar like Peanuts mom, and it is very convenient, but with long hair the clamp is so hard to clasp without getting it caught. Otherwise its really easy.

These all look exactly like what I want, but I'd really rather use my own leashes. If not theres one at glamour dog that is sooooooooo cute
that might be the one.

I absolutely loooove the all in one leather harness, but I'm so cheap!!! If I buy one for Peanut, then I need to get one for Tic, and then by the time that happens, I'll say 'Well why not just buy one of each style...'
I've been eyeing those since I got Peanut last year...peer pressure...

At least with the regular nylon harnesses, I can buy all different colors without breaking the bank
