I just moved into a new place and whenever I leave Bambi alone there she cries, barks and screams (even if I just leave to take out the trash) whereas in the previous place, she would just watch me leave and would stay quiet. Now, if she hears my keys or sees me put my shoes on, she runs and sits in front of the door waiting for it to open. This morning, she ran out and down the stairs and I had to run to get her. How can I get her to not cry when I leave her? And, how can I teach her not to run out because I live in an open air apartment and she's a fast little pup, and I am scared she will run out into the street because Bambi simply does not respond to her name when she is on a mission.
How can she stop barking

It sounds like she has developed anxiety about being alone in the new place.
I would teach her that being alone is a positive thing. Get the crate our and start feeding her in it, giving her yummy treats in it, etc. Work on putting her in and out with rewards just while you are home. Make the crate a great and safe place to be. Then start putting her in and giving her a great treat to work on and step out of the room and right back in. Slowly build up the time you go in and out while varying it (2 seconds, 10 seconds, 1 second, 30 seconds, etc.). Never say hello excitedly when you return, just ignore her.
This will take some time and you might benefit from someone, like a behaviorist or trainer, going over it with you in person.
Other things that will help:
A tired dog is a good dog. Take her for a long walk in the morning and do a short training session. Feed her breakfast by hand having her do something for each piece of put it in a food toy.
Don't make a big deal out of leaving and returning. Ignore her for a few minutes after you come home.
Be consistent with your schedule. If she knows what to expect, she'll have less anxiety.
