I am bored too! Rex is starting his scratching again. He can't have his medicine until 8:30. I walked outside a few minutes ago for about 5 minutes and got 4 mosquito bites. Nothing to do...nothing that I want to do anyway!

Usually I dont get bit. Everyone tells me it is all the goo (lotion) I wear. I have dry skin and am constantly lotioning up. Anyway these were my first bites of the year 4 on the 4th of July. They are killers!

I need to take Rex out to potty before the really big booms start! He is getting restless!

I took Rex outside and like I said before we live on the water and the fireworks go off over the water. Anyway the people in the house beside us have tons of guests over and are on their deck with a baby! The baby is crying with every boom...Rex was cocking his head like what is wrong with that thing!

That is another first for Rex, he has never been around or seen a baby! He didnt see this one either, just heard it!

I may take Rex outside in a bit to watch them. He doesnt seem to be phased by the booms at all!

Usually we drive somewhere to watch the fireworks and what is a 10 minute drive becomes over an hour to get home. The kids are downstairs with their dad watching a movie. I can't sit through movies, 30 minutes is my limit! Everyone agreed this year to stay home with Rex since it was his first 4th!

Next year you will have a baby to stay home with! Rex is in my lap now, he is bored too! He has made our lives such a joy. My daughter is jealous...he is her dog technically, but he doesnt like her very well and he favors me, sleeps on my pillow and follows me around everywhere

She needs a rougher dog.
