Thanks everyone. Has anyone elses dog had a problem with bowel movements after their spaying? Jessy my malt. hasn't poo'ed since I picked her up after her spaying on Friday. Lexi had the same problem. It hurt the first couple of times she tried so she just held it. My vet had me give her some canned pumpking (make sure it is 100% pumpkin) for a few days. Also I would take her for short walks. That seemed to help speed things up.
