After giving Katie two shampooings (once with Bless the Beasts detangling, next with Pure Paws Brightening) and a conditioning, she is still gray!!! I don't know how she got so dirty, but she did... Last night I was looking at her and noticed a gray tinge to her hair... So I combed her all out this morning and gave her a bath... but she's still gray!!! Any suggestions on what I can do to get the gray out?? I don't have any whitening shampoo, but I'll get some if it will work. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Jess and a slightly silver Katie....

Is it all over grey or just her legs and feet? Phoebe got like this from taking a walk the other day. It didnt seem like it was gone during her bath, but when she was dried it seemed ok. I'd be careful on the blue shampoos for now, that could make it worse. Did you use a conditioner? Sometimes conditioners will have a stripping effect. You can try to put one on and let it sit for a little before rinsing. The heavier the better. You dont want one thats specifically meant to seal the cuticle, you want one thats more like a deep conditioner. Just a thought. Good luck.

Thanks! Her fur looks white right now, but when she was wet it was nearly black! It's hear ears, tail, legs, and chin.... I'm wondering if dirt is getting caught up in the fur pomade I use to comb her?? Thanks for the suggestions!!!
