I have had Kirby for 1 week now. He is still reserved, but I can see him becoming more relaxed each day. He seems to have a little problem with his back hip. He seems to sway a little when he walks and he can't zip around like Sugar and Chloe do in the yard. He loves lying in the dog bed I put down for him. A big plus......he has not had one accident in my house. That is awesome for a puppymill dog!

Yes, get an xray and find out if it's arthritis. Lady has arthritis all over, but it's especially bad in her right hip.

A good glucosamine supplement like Cosequin or Glycoflex might really help Kirby. It has really helped Lady.

That's amazing about his potty habits! Good boy!

Lady's Mom, I'd like to add a glucosamine supplement to Pico's diet but how do you determine dosage and where do you get it?
