In the old forum we had a way of looking up members to e-mail them through SM. Do we still have that option and if so, how do we look up a member's name in order to e-mail privately through SM?

TIA

Lynda,

The member's list is not viewable to the public for security reasons. If you want to send a PM to a member but perhaps you don't know the spelling of their full user name, you can create a PM and type in the first few letters of the name (the way you think it is spelled) and the software should populate a list of names automatically with those first few letters.

I'm sure there is an easier way, as my way is ridiculous.
The old SM was cake to find a user.

I go to "Search" then "Advanced Search" to "Search for User"
type in the name, then down arrow to "User's Threads", click on that,
then click on her name from one of her threads. :HistericalSmiley:

LMAO ~ Was that clear as mud ~ :smpullhair::HistericalSmiley:

That's what I do. I liked it much better when we had a member's list.
