Looks good!
Am I not looking at it right 'cause I don't see the lowered entry into the bed?

Sorry, but I thought I'd better say something before you got too far.  Sometimes when too close to it, is hard to see things sometimes.  Been there, done that.

i am too far, i'll have to see if MAB will take it without it or i'll have to make a new base, its still just 5" tall without it, maybe its not too far of a step

You can't flip it on it's side and use a router or jig saw to cut it down?  Maybe use another board that is cut down as a template?

Joe, I know you will come through just fine. My bed is 26". Belle has never jumped off or on. The toy box at the bottom doesn't concern me (though it would be nice) nearly as much as the jump from my bed to the top bed and then ramp.
College football, no problem. I haven't told Belle that her new bed and ramp are coming soon so she won't know the difference. Thanks! ~Jackie

Thanks Joe.  I'm so excited.  It will be so nice when she uses it instead of waking me up kissing me all over to go potty at 2 a.m.  She doesn't do that often but I certainly won't miiss that.  Kisses I love but not at 2 a.m.

Well you're gonna love it. I recently got stairs for this reason. My little Franny would wake me up around midnight. I would put her down to go to her pee pad. She would then roam around the house for a bit. I would fall back asleep, just to hear her whinning to get back on the bed. And, of course, she's whinning at the foot of the bed, not on the side. So I would get out of bed to put her back in the bed. We curl up and fall asleep. Now it's Joplin's turn!!! It would start ALL over again.

Make a long story short. I no longer have BAGS under my eyes

Thanks Joe for the update. It looks great. I thought about it last night as Belle got me up at midnight to go potty. Thanks 3MaltMom, I'm really looking forward to having the bed with the ramp. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before she starts using it. Her lessons if needed will begin as soon as we do our part of the finishing touches on it.
