I have given Paris a Mullet.
Retro is making a comeback so I figured go bold.

She has gorgeous hair, and never fussed with her topknot.
It was about 5 to 6 inches long, but when it wasn't tied up,
it always fell right over her face.
It was time to give her a fresh look.

So the back of her head is still long, 5 inches, and her ears are long,
just the top bit of her head is short.
It's not a puppycut, as I have kept the back long.
Hence, the Mullett name.
I think I will call the style: the Mullett Muttlet.

Now she is the trendy one of the two.
I grew out Coco's mohawk into a nice little sculpted mushroom cap.
And she no longer has the goatee.

I am actually enjoying the Mullett style on Paris.

My apologies to groomers everywhere.
But feel free to copy!

We need pictures, please!!! I know Tyler's got that thing going. Short visor but the groomer says to keep back long so it doesn't chop off at the head. But when the wind blows, he looks like The Donald. :w00t:

I will get pics this week of my Mullet Queen. :)
I just got a new camera so will have to test it out, my old camera was driving me bonkers.
I really like Tyler's hairstyle.
It is similar to Tyler's but I cropped it pretty short on top.

How cute! A yorkie with attitude! B)
Coco has good hair for that style as it is thick and will stand up.
I guess some Canadians like the creative styles! :w00t:
I love experimenting with grooming.
I would like to get the Andis 2 speed clipper next.

I saw a pic of a yorkie with a mohawk on his head once and thought it was adorable so I thought I'd try it on Zora when I was bored one day. I wound up doing a mohawk down her whole spine and I'm probably the last person people would expect to have a dog with a mohawk. lol

She's back to being normal now, but it's fun to play with their coats!

You are very brave, too! It must have looked pretty cute on Zora!
I just love the colour of your girls' coats! Gorgeous.

Jilly,

Waiting for the pictures, please . . . the cut sounds adorable.
 Confession: I have given her another haircut!
I really loved the mullet and would do that style again.
I liked the style in the Pinkaholic catalogue of the Korean cut.
So I gave Paris a style that is similar.
Allthough longer, instead of the super short, her hair is about half an inch.
With long ears of course and long tail.
Once it grows it would look like a puppy cut.

But this way I could see if her structure suited the Korean cut without the sudden shock of cutting her hair that short. And it is warmer longer.

Also, I need to buy a good clipper and blades.
So far, I have been scissoring everything so am limited by that.

It's a learning process, and lucky Paris she is my lil Chia Pet!
