we went on a ride last night and on our way home we were blessed to see a momma deer nursing her baby:wub: you really have to look close, I'm sure she had just given birth to her baby that day. It was so special to watch them:wub: I wish I had a better camera

Wow isn't that something Paula. You were blessed to see it. I wish I'd been with you. Maybe some smart, computer savvy person will enlarge it for you. Hint, hint!!
Thanks for sharing that precious picture Paula.
How sweet! I wish I could enlarge it but it would just make it very blurry.

Darn, I really need to get a better camera, in all my years I have never witnessed a momma deer nursing her baby:wub:
WOW, that's an amazing site. And you even managed to get a picture.:aktion033:
Oh wow...I've never seen that either. What an incredibly special moment.
What a special moment. How wonderful nature is.
Ahhhhhhhhh the beauty of nature, you are so fortunate to capture such a special sight Paula.
In all the time I have been here in the US I have yet to even see deer in the wild close enough to get a picture.
Thank you for sharing your special moment.

Breathtaking pictures, Paula! What a special moment and captured it in a photo!

Alexandra
nature is beautiful!
How sweet. :) I love seeing deer.

My family used to vacation at the beach in Oregon, and the last year we went (was 3 years ago now) we stayed at Olivia Beach and rented a house...and saw lots of deer wandering around the wooded area, it was so neat!

Come to where I live. They stroll up the driveway, run across the backyard, eat the tops of my plants, leave Lyme disease ticks all over the place but they sure are facinating and beautiful to behold. The other day I was walking in our neighborhood and a family of deer came crashing out of the woods about 5 ft. in front of me and I almost had a heart attack :HistericalSmiley::HistericalSmiley:
I would have loved to have been there to witness it.
AWESOME!!! Photo!! what a thrill that must have been to see in 'reality!"
I wish I could have gotten a better picture, the fawn was so little and had the spots, you could tell the fawn had just been born by how the doe acted, we use to feed deer and they would come to our deck years ago but I have never seen one nursing on his or her mommy, it was so touching to watch
