Hi everyone,

I am a first time breeder. I took Kokonut and her puppies to the vet, after we lost one of the puppies, and the vet said they are all doing great. They are 4 weeks old and I am trying to ween them but they don’t like the puppy mush. Is there anything you all may recommend to use that worked for you?

I'm sorry for being very direct but why are you breeding her? Are you being mentored by a show breeder? Do you plan on showing in conformation? If so, your mentor should be able to help you out with this. Was this an accidental breeding? If so, is she scheduled for her spay to prevent this from happening again?

Many of us support breeding ONLY if the breeder intends to maintain and improve the Maltese lines and does so by studying lines and geneology and showing their dogs in conformation. Doing so is most successful when you are mentored by someone with experience. I hope you're able to find someone with that expertise to assist.
