Dang! NASA examining video of debris spotted during liftoff

NASA video shows debris falling from the shuttle's external tank on ascent into orbit.

Maybe it will be ok, since they seem to think that it didn't actually hit the shuttle...
We can only hope and pray...
Another tragedy would not be good for our space program, that is for sure. -_-

Right now they don't seem overly concerned about it. So hopefully it is nothing.

Yeah. I saw it on the news yesterday and they did not make a big deal out of it. Looks like a piece of paper flew out.

did everyone watch the launch? i'm only like an hour from canaveral, so we went on our balcony and watched it launch over the beach
