I just wanted to say hi, from Missouri. I just found this site today, and love all of the pictures. My husband and I have our first maltese, Caesar, who is now 17 weeks old. He is just the sweetest little guy!

You must be so proud of Caesar! He's just adorable. In fact, he's ALMOST as adorable as my Pico...... :lol:

Please don't get me wrong here, but I've heard so much about Missouri being Puppymill Capital. What do you know about this? Maybe this shouldn't post here....it may be more appropriate to post in another forum but I am very interested in what makes one place stand out like that.

Hi Pico's mom,
Im really not sure about the puppy mills. My husband said maybe it is because of the 2 big cities..?? We aren't sure though. Caesar came from a wonderful family, we went and visited them before we bought him. We had called a few places both in MO and surrounding states, that we just didn't feel comfortable buying from. The family we bought Caesar from is wonderful though, each time we take him to the vet we always stop by for a visit. Thank you all for the warm welcome! This is such a neat site!
