I watch Law & Order faithfully and I have been wondering about this forever. What is a bodega? (sp?) I have done searches online and come up with nothing. I hope someone can put my mind at ease at last. You know how something nags at you, well this it it for me.

My husband uses that term-it's a small convenience store in a hispanic neighborhood-out here we call them "Convenience stores" lol.

In the Bronx there are TONS of Bodegas and not alot of large supermarkets....

Yes, they are like the old Mom and Pop corner grocery stores we had .......wayyyyyy....... back when I was growing up

Today it's a 7 eleven. Wonder what it will be called when this next generation is all grown up
