Since my encounter with a coyote in our back yard my hubby bought me a torch that has a tazer and if any large and threatening animal ever approaches either me or Scooby I would not hesitate to ZAPPPPPP it. Of course I always pick Scooby up if another larger dog approaches and we also have 6' fencing around the back yard so Scooby can go out safely. The gates are always kept pad locked for extra security.
