I was just reading up on Orijen because I am planning on starting Leila on it soon, and found that they just received the Glycemic Research Institute's award for Pet Food of the Year for the second consecutive year.
They conduct independent clinical and analytical research on several hundred brands. They say "The strict Award criteria involves in-depth analysis of the product and its suitability, based on ingredients, glycemic-response, diabetic-response, anti-aging factors, and biochemical requirements of the species."
I thought you all might find that interesting since I know many of you feed Orijen and many of us are always looking for a great kibble
