Here is some pics of our newest, well one of the newest, pets. A bearded dragon. Her name is Acacia- Case for short. Jonanthan has been wanting one for the longest time and since he is of approriate age, he got to get one. Of course, I love holding and playing with her too. So incrediably calm! I love to watch her eat crickets!

Oh my! A bearded dragon, eh? Huh...How big will she get? How long do they live? I just realized I know nothing about them. So she's a girl but has a beard?

You like holding her? hummmmmm, don't know if I would....

I'm glad your son has a pet of his own. That's a good thing.

Oh cool! I love beardies. Is she a normal colored one? Sometimes they come in very neat colors like bright yellow or reddish. Just wait till she gets a little older. If you take her outside she will kind of freak out and will look around for birds all suspiciously. Its so cute to watch. I don't have one, but would love one, one day.

They get about 18-24 inches from tip to tip and with really good care, can live 10-12 years.

We also got 2 more turtles- red eared sliders- they will out live us all! LOL They are teeny tiny. I got suckered into those, when we went to the beach last weekend. I'll have to post a pic of them too.

Yes, she is just brownish tan colored. I seen some of the more colorful ones online, but they are super expensive. But, they are very pretty. Maybe oneday, like when I get a bigger house!!!

Laura your pictures brought back old memories of my son and his lizard. I was never a fan oof Lizzy the Lizard:w00t: but I loved watching my son's face light everytime he held the lizard and fed it

I LOVE bearded dragons Tell your son congrats on becoming an owner of the best lizard ever!! I actually have one too ... Her name's Ekka... She's all big now though, and they actually get calmer as they age! Here's a picture of her as a baby and one where's she big. She stays at my moms, but when I'm there I take her outside and she grazes. My parents don't use pesticides as the chickens eat most of the bugs.
