Periodontal Treatment Update

Some of you might remember that I began a non-surgical Periodontal Disease treatment in March for a severe case of Periodontal disease. I was told by a Periodontist in February that I needed expensive surgery. I did some research and opted for a different treatment, which is administered by a regular Dentist, called Perio Protect, over the course of one year. It isn't cheap, but it's much less than periodontal surgery.

It has been 2 months since I started the treatment, and it is working very well. Today I had a followup cleaning, and the dentist said that my gum tissue is looking very good and is much improved. I am very optimistic!
