No, Oprah has never done a show on puppy mills before. Dateline did one a few years ago, Readers Digest wrote an expose recently and I believe Animal Planet has done some shows on puppy mill raids, showing the horrible conditions.

The hope is that a show devoted to puppy mills on Oprah would target a different audience, perhaps the very people who get "suckered" into buying from pet shops everyday.

Great idea! Oprah has such a big impact that she would do a lot of good for these poor furbabies. I sent it to all my friends and family, too. I see 20,000 signatures a distinct possibility.

It will be difficult to watch, though.
