My poor little Boba has an ear infection as well as a skin infection on one of his arms. The vet gave strict orders not to take his plastic cone off at all, but he doesn't seem to be eating, drinking water or even having the desire to go outside (for potty), which he would normally be so excited about. I was wondering if anyone has tried using the "comfy" cones made of nylon fabric and foam? If so, would it be a better alternative to the uncomfortable plastic cones? It also seems that the cone provided by the vet is too big for my Boba. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!! xoxo

The cone that your vet gave you does look very long. I found with Tessa that she would eat and drink when I took the cone off. Try taking it off while under constant supervision at meal times.

I used the soft cone when Baci was neautered..I think as long as it does the trick so he stays away from his itchy spots..
