my 5 month maltese eats her food in like 2 seconds. and we feed her the right portion and she gets treats all day. goodness!!!!

Sometime the girls eat fast and other times they don't.

Since your baby eats really fast you are going to want to make sure her food is really small because she is probably not chewing very well.

Chelsey does that to... once the food is in her dish,by the time to reach for the water to give her.. it all done.

i am shocked at how fast Matilda eats, and after she eats she wants more

I have noticed she only chews about every other morsal. At this rate she will be a "BIG MALTESE" :new_Eyecrazy: but I will love her anyways

My Christy eats her food like that, I'm sure she misses the chewing part :lol: Summer on the other hand will take one bite at a time and chew with her head tilted up a little

We put a tennis ball in the food bowl for gobblers to help slow them down. If she's just a quick eater, no worries. The puppy I have in house right now is the same way.
