My first family abandoned me at the vet’s office because they couldn’t afford to take care of my hernia, but lucky me, some guardian angels flew in and now I’m good as new (no, I didn't get my head stuck in a life preserver...they just took my picture while I was recovering from surgery [that's a collar to keep me from licking my stitches
)!
My name is Max and I’m one spunky, sweet, smart little boy with a wonderful attitude (I was so good at the vets you would never know that I must have been in pain). While there, they also gave me my shots, cleaned my teeth and had me neutered. Now that I am good as new again, I need a better family who will not abandon me when times get hard. I am a love bug and deserved so much better than that!
I am a very active, bouncy dog and weigh about 13 pounds. My foster family says that I am very well behaved and truly an easy little dog to care for. I am house trained, as long as my family is working with me to take me out to potty on a regular schedule. If you think you could give me the wonderful home I deserve, I will repay you with many, many years of sweet devotion and companionship.
