I'm just throwing some ideas here. Once he has used a pad take it outside for him to sniff and hopefully use? Is he interested in the other dogs at all? Let him watch what they do, and how they do it. Walks were good for my poodle, all the good smells became too good to pass without him peeing on them too.
Retraining to potty outside
I need help from anyone who has a fluff that has been trained to go on potty pads and was retrained to go potty outside on the grass. I have a 2 1/2 yr retiree that just came into my life over the weekend who has never been on the grass and he just looks at me like WHAT AM I DOING ON THIS STUFF!!
He is new to me and I understand there is a transition time so I am not fussing at him for his mistakes, I just don't know how to get him interested in the grass. I have 2 other dogs who go outside to do their business. PLEASE HELP
