I just want to say that every time I come on SM, I get to see that horrid roach up above the threads. That's just disgusting. Ugh!:angry:

LOL me too, when I first saw this thread, I was like..what roach?! I've definitely noticed the ad multiple times but it just didn't register lol

This morning it was a Mountain Dew ad. That's a thousand times better than being greeted by a dang roach crawling across my screen. :thumbsup:

I read Marj's thread before and now this about the "roach" ad.

lol I sure wouldn't like to see that on my screen, but since everyone is mentioning that they are seeing it, I wanna find it!!!! Believe it or not, I am searching for it . In other words, before doing anything in the forum, I pay attention to the ads that come up, anytime I click to open a new page in the forum, a new thread, post, or anything like that.

Ads that come up on my screen varies from : Liverpool University, to Pet Pharmacy, call services in the UAE ad, school degrees, itune ad..etc but I cant see the roach!!!!

You won''t see it. Lucky you! It's an ad for Terminex, an exterminating company here in the US. It's the ad I see more than any others here. That big roach is always there whenever I log in.

Yes, and I swear he used to pop out of the ad and crawl across the screen. I'm sorry, Marj, I didn't realize there was already a roach thread.:HistericalSmiley:

That's funny,I never saw it and I've been waiting for it,and now it's been there at least 3 times that I've been on today! Usually it's a Pet Med pharmacy advert.Must be my day to see it.

:w00t: oh my! I am not a fan of roaches. Having it to crawl like that in front of me will give me that feeling that I feel when seeing real roaches - not scared...more like disgusted; having that EEEEWW feeling!

Marketing-wise, I am not sure if this will attract some people to pay attention to the ad (lol it will make me run away instead of paying attention to it). I wonder what else can an exterminating company go about its ads when its role is focused on roaches :unsure:

I hate roaches, but since this is a maltese site it could be worse.. That disgusting bug could be a flea!!!! Yikes!!!!
