I found out last night that Lexi's best friend is moving next month. She will still be in town but her owners are buying a townhouse.
Lexi is going to be heart broken when she realizes Ellie isn't there. During the summer they played together every day (sometimes a couple times a day). During the winter they've been playing every couple of days. To go outside we have to walk by their door and Lexi has to stop and sniff it. If she hears Ellie inside she will sit infront of the door waiting for Ellie to come out.

We are going to try and set up playdates every 2 weeks or so, but it is just not going to be the same. I feel so bad for Lexi.

Awww! When my sister moved to Florida with her dog Cosmo, Peanut wasn't the same for a while. He always went to look for Cosmo and he looked so sad when he couldn't find Cosmo. Whenever a dog barked outside or on tv, Peanut would go running around the house looking for Cosmo.

I'm glad Lexi will still be able to have play dates!!!! Just have to say, Lexi is so gorgeous!!!! :D

Aw I'm sorry for Lexi and for you
Thank goodness for playdates, right? But I sympathize. I've been wanting a good playmate for Lucy for awhile now.. there's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel she could play with, but he has a good 13 pounds on her and isn't neutered.

Anyways, hope she adjusts and you two find some other doggy friends
Btw, that pic of them together is ADORABLE.
