[Dixie_Sapper]

I can't believe Sapper is already 10 months old. I just had him groomed and decided to try the top knot again. Middle son isn't crazy about Sapper having a bow in his hair.

Just curious, is there a meaning to his name?  (If you don't mind my asking.  Don't want to pry, so if it's private, that's ok too)

MsLoke, Arnold's Dixie Sapper is named for my husbands last name (Arnold) and Dixie Sapper is what his national Guard unit was called. I bought Sapper after hubby went to Iraq and figured he would accept Sapper better if I named him after him and his unit. Since Larry was KIA, Sapper has been the biggest blessing to me. He knows when I need Sapper licks & kisses. LOL
