I remember that day too but from a different perspective because I did not live so close. To those that did, my heart goes out to you. I can remember when Kerry wrote such a moving experience about that day. The thing I remember was getting a cup of coffee and returning to my computer and the TV was on in this very room. It was such a gorgeous day and then I saw it on the television. You just did not believe it. The first realization that something was not right was when I saw the second plane, even before it hit, you knew, you just knew. The Today show did not seem to catch on as fast as I did. I thought.......wake up!!! Then the whole, horrible, unbelieveable day. You sat in a trance and the stories that enfolded day after day........this is what I will always remember. We need to stop fighting. It is so useless but I am afraid it will never happen. I pray for the families of the victims and those that lost friends and to those that had to witness it first hand....and I pray for peace.
