Sheila and Lamby are home! They arrived safe and sound last night![]()

They are adjusting to home life and I will not steal Sheila's thunder sharing her with you all!
BUT
I just want to say, that I am honored to have met one of the kindest souls on this planet! I will always have a bond with Sheila. I am humbled by her gentle nature and she never complained once despite the weather and delays! She took that baby under her mother hen wings and cherished their new found moments together, discovering each other. By the time I dropped Sheila off Lamby had chosen Sheila as her Momma and it was a beautiful experience for me to see that Lamby bonded with her like super glue. The trust she gained so early was blantantly written on her sweet face and in her coal black eyes!
I am still overwhelmed by all of it and it was the most profound adoption I have ever been a part of, and I will love them both always! I don't think I have the words for all of it.
